Duo Explorer Part 1 : Gianyar & Ubud

Super late posting about my adventurous trip to Ubud in case of taking every second counts for public holiday (August 30th, 2011) with my roommate, Dea.
Initial route was spotted at Pura Batuan





The next trip was going to Pura Goa Gajah!
Pura Goa Gajah is much bigger than Pura Batuan, situated in Gianyar. It has a cave downstairs with a lot of space to meditate and believed as a sacred place. Besides, there is also two big ponds where goddess like to have a bath. The water comes from natural springs, that's unique! People then trust when you splash the water into your face, you will look prettier :p
Oops I forgot why does it call as "Pura Goa Gajah". Well, this spot was actually found by Dutch archaeologist and then soon dredged to be as it is today. We can also see there is an Elephant "Ganesha" sculpture.

3rd place : Ubud Palace

Each of district in Bali have their own palace. That's interesting! And I was so glad having the chance to visit Ubud's. Free entrance for the outer area as the inner area is the private place for the royal family.

After touring at the Ubud palace, the next target was pleasing our stomachaches! We went to Warung Babi Guling Bu Oka and Naughty Nuris but the queue made us cried! Unfortunate day for culinary temptation, but still one spot, Warung Joni. We ate Bebek Crispy and surprisingly the bill was like goggling our eyes! It pushed us to spend lots of money and our wallet became thinner all the way. The cost is not worth the taste at all! Don't ever try, dear..

The last destination : Antonio Blanco Museum

This famous museum is fulfilled with plenty masterpieces of Antonio Blanco, Spanish artist, with the signature of nudity. Fond of painting his own Balinese wife (Ni Ronji) which is naked but don't synchronize it with porn as it's painted blurry. Is your attention grabbed? Just visit that place by paying only IDR 30,000 per person with no food and camera.

Not only the painting, you can also take great photos outside the museum, the garden is so pretty. Blanco has died and now, his son, Mario, takes place with different stream of painting. Mario has the realistic theme and prefer to have his own personality in that business.

Also, this museum also consists of the Blanco's residence, you can treasure the place where Antonio usually did all the project. He has a unique habit when paint, the place is really whimsical! Don't take much more time, witness by yourself, art-lovers..

Blur is The New Focus

Today random thought pops up in my head, it's about life focus.

First of all, I would like to say thanks to my God for enriching me to be wiser and wiser each day. I hope this post may nourish your mind and soul.

Well, we're frequently interrupted by some stuffs which are initially not included in our way pursuing the dream. For example, we're going to accomplish the lesson about forgiveness, but suddenly when we're hurt by other, we forget the plan A and start wrestling with that negative mind. Then, we lose direction, may be to the left or to the right path. We miss our focus and breakable. It's normal and it also happens to me!

But, God whispered me to keep stable in consistency. Yes, being consistent is not that simple. But, once again try to re-memorize what will you get from the first plan? Yeah absolutely you'll have a super-quality life, it drives you to the peace. What else could shape a gorgeous smile unless you have a peaceful mind and heart?

Persevere on your initial plan.

For you who haven't had a life goal, set yours now, focus and see what does it bring you to be.

Even our path is sometimes blurry, please don't ever lose faith even once. Keep walking on the track that you (yourself) have arranged. Then sooner I'm sure everything will be crystal clear. Use the blurry path to be the new focus! Let the blur be the extra fuel to your faith, persistence and hope. Believe me, it just a tiny part of your dream comes true.

Just so you know, nothing is useless when you've got God's blessing on it. Be blessed for all good things. Cheers!
