Relationship's Stage

Have you ever been in a relationship before? In a friendship or any other companionship?

Don't you know there are several phases in relationship which sometimes missed in our mind?

For me, building a relationship has stages. It is more likely to be rooms in a house, there are terrace, living room, family room and the most intimate place, bedroom. It is better for us to realize in which spot that's proper for people to be situated. For strangers, I'd rather to share my life in terrace, which not a lot to tell, not a lot to expect; minimum interaction. That's not about being mean but the boundary. In some cases, it's essential too for you to consider who's allowed to borrow your stuffs, read your notes or whom you can share your meals. It's also important for ladies to set rules to men who approach them. Don't provide too much hopes for the sake of compliments or any negatives. Besides, the way you speak, what you share, how you dress to certain occasion, they all are determined your hidden purpose that's possibly can be detected. So, be polite! Act, think and chat suitably. Because you won't ever know who exactly you're now facing.

It's about you, yourself, the one who knows best to situate every person who comes to your life. Be wise :)

Forgiving toward Forgetting

People all have their own history and misery. Each person also undeniably has their black and white, plus and minus. I've met hundred kinds of person that warm-hearted and cold-hearted. They're all different with various character which in my whole life trip I will patiently try to understand and match them. But here I am finally step myself to the climax point of being understood inquiry. I ask myself that how could I stand still without God's presence in my life? I will have no patient, no love, no kindness. But I am so grateful even all the heartache may come over, I get the strength to keep loving them. 

Matthew 18 : 21-22

Matthew 6 : 14-15 

Have you ever been trapped to the hard times?
Sick from all of the hurts?
Maybe by different person, or perhaps the same person?
Like over, over and over again?
Have you ever tried to forgive very hard?
But all you get is denial?
Scars that won't easily disappear?

I would say, I have.

"I don't understand how you can smile all day long but cry yourself to sleep at night.

How pictures never change but the people in them do.

How your best friend can become your worst enemy,

or how strange it is when your worst enemy turns into your best friend.

How forever turns into a few short months that you'd do almost anything to get back.

How you can let go of something you once said you couldn't live without.

How even though you know something is best for you, it just hurts the same.

How the people who once wanted to spend every second with you, think a few minutes of their time is too much to spare.

How people make promises despite knowing how common it is for promises to be broken.

How people can erase you from their lives just because it's easier than working things out."

One thing I know, it is normal to get mad, expressing what your heart really means. 

But don't make it too long (Ephesians 4 : 26).
"Control yourself. Don't use your anger to let others see you are powerful. Because at this point, you mean nothing." (LIH)

In my understanding, forgiving is a yes, yet forgetting is a no.

But I was totally wrong, I have seen lots of broken-hearted people define what "forgiveness" really means.

Forgiveness also has the most powerful finishing which is called : "forgetting".

(Philippians 3 : 13-14)
It is about forgetting how it hurts, stop thinking about the broken heart, and ready to look for the next days with a recovered-heart. Well I believe memory will stay, bad scenes may not be deleted. But yes, we can eliminate the bad feeling about it. 

For me, forgiving is not an obligation, it is a necessity.

Bring it to your prayer, let God help and guide you.
Forgiving and forgetting will provide you much much brighter future.
Don't be stuck at that bondage!

You just need to believe your heart, that in His hands, you're safe.

So, don't give up!

You and your God are inseparable! :)

The Cruise

August 7th, 2012 will be a full-day of tension because this is the day of my ROM (Restaurant Operation Management) project's GRAND OPENING. Its name is "THE CRUISE" which symbolizes a name of quite exclusive vehicle that carries sort of good people. My team decided to use that name to represent a mobility of themes that we can apply forward. THE CRUISE serves both of dine-in and take-away, also buffet and a la Carte. THE CRUISE vision is to be an escape to where conceptual American Casual Dining set for sensory experiences. Besides, to emphasize it's culinary field, we use "Appetizing Voyage" as tagline. Our team consists of  33 THM'10 student who are well-trained in each specific area.

Going further instead of formal tale, I will tell you about "THE CRUISE behind the scenes"..

Despair.. it was over-praised by lecturers with hopes that actually did not fit the real situation.

Quarrel.. even though our team is much more solid than another team, actually we had lots of misunderstanding to each other.

Coordination.. it was so hard to manage 33 people in harmony.

Bad News.. THE CRUISE got lots of bad news for several times.

We are all very excited for this project, but it seemed so blur, supremely.

First of all, we got the first turn to run the restaurant. However, the lecturers themselves still did not have the exact planning since the usual place for ROM project will be renovated to the juniors concern. Then again, we were given inappropriate place (THM balcony) that forced us to constantly look for plan B. Don't you think it's all tiring?

But, wait, it did not stop in that part. Still, we got another madness that finally we got the place which we will permanently use. BUT, it is outdoor, no boundary.. clueless. 

There are lots of rule transformation if it's compared to the previous one. We were too much surprised with things that actually out of the thoughts (too much to tell in details).

Yeah, we know life it's hard, but giving up will never be a choice. We kept patiently struggling till finally we seemed don't care with another bad news! =D

It was uneasy to arrange meetings, materials, system, concept, everything.. Even more, it was happening during a long long semester break. Everybody wants a packed-holiday, everybody needs holiday. Unluckily, several members also join the Orientation Week committees.

Major member also did not come out with the same excitement which was so disappointing somehow. But never mind, at least some people worked persistently excellent. 

FINALLY, we made it through the D-1 "30th July 2012" (actually our grand opening day : "31st July 2012"), we have rushed things, prepared all and ready to fight! 

..

 

In the morning we got the worst bad news ever!! The lecturers also lost contact with Property Management staffs who are responsible for this case. They have promised us that we could run the restaurant right on the day which have already planned. 

It was the feeling I couldn't explain. Sad, mad, disappointed, tired, all the negatives :(

The lecturers then held an urgent meeting to generously contribute a big apology. But the point is not the purchasing alone, it is about the sponsors, the invitation.. and reputation.

Nothing else we could do. What's the point of overwhelming in the sorrow? So we stand up again and believe that everyone needs to fall, bounce back and fly even higher than before. We swapped the anger to a greater spirit :) We held some meeting to share and mutually encourage. We won't let this pain come up in a vain.

 

So guys, we are pioneer. We are the major planner. We are tough. 

We would like to show you the hardworks :)
