Splendid Father of Mine

Through the ages,
You are beyond the best
Some don't have enough time for their kids
But for you, I'm never a bother

Dad,
You never ask me to pay your sweatdrops back
You've been working so hard,
To see me grow smarter
You've been trying too much,
To create a sense of security and sensibility
You know however you are,
You cross the limit of best dad ever

I'm just a daddy's little girl
Who needs to feel secure for every harm
To show me man who's good
To love me with manly charm
You are my role model to seek any guys
You are a kind of smart as smart can be
You are gentle as a gentle can be

Oh Dad, I've learnt a lot from watching you
Thanks for sincerely loving this family
Taking care of Mom
And watching over me
From the tough life outside

I know you're tired
Of being sensible, tough and strong to me
There are days you are fragile
Here I Am, Dad
I'm here to cuddle you

I'm your biggest fan
You're my superhero
You're my real santa claus
Your affection conquer all doubts
You fill your days up
By worrying about me
But you enjoy every moment to see me grow

Truck of thanks, Dad
For no regret having me in your life
Without you, I'm nobody
It's true I hear my name in every single prayer
You mention it in the first line
How lucky I am to be yours

You never give up and keep up the spirit
Even at my worst
You convince yourself
I never do anything wrong
I'm the best in your eyes

When you're in a rush
It will be no problem to drive me to school
You spend your money
Just on food to eat
But you still remember me
You earn more money to see me well-dressed

You know Dad
I've been trying my best to make you proud
I study overnight
Just too see you stand proudly in a sea of parents
But you get mad of me
You said you don't need any award or achievements
You are happy enough to see me healthy
To see me be the light to everybody

I will never realize
Till the day I'm a woman
I even seemed don't care
About days you've been through
I got into a fight with you
I argue much with you
Yes, Dad..
That's what I've done
But, instead of these
Your scars just cured as see me smiling at you
You live simply

Your devotion and dedication will last forever
Here in my deep heart
It shapes a diamond
Clearly precious and will ever be broken
I'll keep it
I give you a simple promise
That I will be a good daughter you have ever had
I'll be whatever you want me to be
But please don't ever ask me
To get you off from my mind
Because this thing will never be
You are surely too good for me, Dad

It's my favorite to hold your hand
So the world may see you belong to me
And my love continues to grow
Till you be the greatest grandpa
For my children
Thanks, Dad

From you forever grateful kid,
Me

"Man, a girl can only trust is HER DAD"
